Blogging Is Hard…But Here Is My Vow!

Blogging…it’s hard!

Maybe you looked online at ways to better your writing, or maybe you googled how to make money from home and every post you read tells you to start a blog! “It’s the best!”

Am I right? Trust me, I have been there!

You would think that writing every day would be easy, right?

I mean, you are a writer, after all!

What you don’t read on those sites is that blogging is actually really hard.
It is hard to get a decent blog started.
It is hard to find things to write about every day.

I started my blog a while ago as a way to improve my writing, I am an author and so I am always searching for ways to better myself and I am always looking for ways to connect to more people.

It did not take very long to realize that you needed to put in a lot of time and effort into the blogging lifestyle if you want to become successful at it.

Admittedly, that is something I still struggle with.
I have a family, I have a home to take care of, I have my books to write, so finding time to sit and think of an idea for my blog is difficult.

So, I fall into the ‘monthly blog challenges’ and attempt to gain feedback and followers that way.

But, starting today, I am making a vow to myself!

No more falling into only doing ‘monthly challenges’.
No more trying to find shortcuts in this whole blogging thing.

Starting today, I am going to put effort into my blog and who knows, maybe in a few months or even a few years, all of my hard work will pay off.

So, here is to those who want to start to blog and are finding it incredibly difficult.
Stick it out, put in the effort and I will do it right alongside you as well!

Let’s do this!
Let’s get our blogs rolling!
Let’s better our writing, better ourselves, and meet new people along the way!
